As from July 1, 2014 and throughout the following six months Italy will take the Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the institution that represent the governments of all the member States. Here the ministers from each European Union country meet to adopt laws and coordinate policies.During the Italian Presidency, Italy will be chairing meetings at any level, submitting guidelines and drawing up the compromises needed by the Council to take decisions.
