Interesting fact
The 5 Centésimos de Real 1857 coin from Uruguay was designed by French engraver and medalist, Charles-Jean-François Châtelain. Châtelain was a prominent artist and engraver of the time, and his work can be found on various coins and medals from different countries. The coin's design features a portrait of Uruguay's first president, José Fructuoso Rivera, on the obverse, and a depiction of the country's coat of arms on the reverse.
