Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, which was designed specifically for the Tokelauan coinage. The portrait was created by sculptor and engraver Ian Rank-Broadley and shows the Queen wearing a crown and a necklace featuring the Tokelauan symbol, the "Tuluma". This design was only used on the Tokelauan coins and is not found on any other coins featuring Queen Elizabeth II.
