Comment
Some unofficial strike exists for this type of coin: these belongs to a strange serie of coin produced outside Denmark and called "mysteriekroner". These coins are counterfeits of normal danish krone and circulated alongside the original coins. Since they have same dimension and finess are difficult to distinguish from the real ones.Interesting fact
The 4 Mark Dansk coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of Christian V (1676-1678), features a unique design element that sets it apart from other coins of its time. The obverse side of the coin bears an image of the king in a standing position, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves. This design was inspired by the Roman imperial coinage, which featured standing figures of emperors on their coins. The use of this design element on the 4 Mark Dansk coin reflects the influence of classical culture on European art and architecture during the 17th century.
