Date of issue: 02 JUN 2008The House of the Urals businessman N. I. Sevastyanov (1866, architect A. I. Paduchev) located in the City of Ekatherinburg is the unique sample of the Gothic-Moorish architectural style in the Urals-Siberian region. It is entered into the Federal List of the Objects of Cultural Heritage (The Historical Monuments).
Interesting fact
The House of N.I. Sevastyanov coin was issued to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nikolai Ivanovich Sevastyanov, a prominent Russian engineer and designer who played a significant role in the development of Soviet rocketry and space technology. The coin's design features an image of Sevastyanov's house, which is now a museum dedicated to his life and work.
