Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Benelux Treaty, which was a treaty signed in 1944 between Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg aimed at promoting economic and political cooperation between the three countries. The coin features an image of Jean, the Grand Duke of Luxembourg at the time, on one side, and the Benelux logo on the other.
