Date of issue: 11 AUG 2008Under decree of the emperor Alexander II, in 1818 in Saint Petersburg, was founded the Expedition of Storing State Papers. Its factories could realize complete cycle of money manufacturing - from producing paper to printing banknotes as well as minting coins. In 1919 the company has been removed to Moscow. Now it is named the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Goznak" which consolidates eight brunch enterprises producing special types of paper, printing products, coinage, medallions as well as award orders.
