Interesting fact

The 25 kopecks coin minted during Alexander III's reign was the last silver coin to be issued by the Russian Empire. It was produced from 1886 to 1894, and its silver content was 90% (or .900). This coin was also the last coin to feature the Imperial eagle on the reverse side before it was replaced by the coat of arms of the Russian Empire.
