The 25th anniversary of Saint Teresa of Calcutta’s death is commemorated by the Vatican Mint with the issue of a colour silver coin. The Saint appears smiling with a calm gaze and her hands joined in prayer. On Mother Teresa’s tomb in Bombay are engraved the words Jesus spoke to the apostles at the Last Supper (Jn 15:12) “Love one another as I have loved you.” The same words appear on the reverse of the coin, designed by Gabriella Titotto.Interesting fact
