Interesting fact
The Juliana pattern coin was designed by Dutch artist and sculptor, Jo Uiterwaal, and features an image of Queen Juliana on the obverse side, while the reverse side features the Netherlands' coat of arms. This coin was never officially released into circulation, but a small number of pattern coins were produced and given to dignitaries as gifts. As a result, the Juliana pattern coin is now a highly sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
