First program in the series.The fascinating bald eagle is Canada's largest bird of prey and the only eagle exclusive to North America. A powerful symbol of vision, strength and stoicism, this impressive bird has a wingspan of over two meters.
Packaging
The coin is encapsulated and presented in a padded burgundy double-shell case featuring the Royal Canadian Mint logo. The case is protected by a specially designed box featuring a full-color reproduction of the motif on the reverse of the coin.
Interesting fact
The Bald Eagle coin's design features a bald eagle in flight, with its wings spread wide, soaring above a lake in the background. The coin's reverse also includes the inscription "20 DOLLARS" and the year "2013." The obverse features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II.
