Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of a bearded man, believed to be a representation of the Carian satrap (governor) who issued the coin. The reverse (back) side of the coin depicts a four-horse chariot, which was a common motif in ancient Greek coinage and symbolized the power and prestige of the issuing authority.
