Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Non-circulating coin 2 Sovereigns - Elizabeth II (Diamond Jubilee) 2012 from United Kingdom (United Kingdom, British Overseas Territories and Crown Dependencies) made of Gold (.9167) weighing 15.98 g is that it was minted to commemorate Queen Elizabeth II's 60th anniversary on the throne, known as her Diamond Jubilee. The coin's design features a unique double portrait of the Queen, with her younger self on the left and her current self on the right, symbolizing her six decades as monarch. The coin's obverse side bears the traditional effigy of the Queen, while the reverse side features a design by sculptor John Bergdahl that includes the Queen's cypher, the years of her reign, and the coin's denomination. The coin was issued in a limited edition of 2,500 pieces and is considered a collector's item.
