One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design that commemorates the 200th anniversary of Charles Dickens' birth. The coin's reverse side features an image of Dickens' profile, along with famous characters from his works, such as Oliver Twist and Scrooge, surrounding him. This design was created by the renowned British artist, Matthew Dent, and was chosen as the winning design from a public competition held by the Royal Mint.
