One of three coins issued to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, by honouring his work. This coin represents the comedies, the other coins in the series represent the histories and the tragedies. Issued as part of the Annual Silver Piedfort Sets for 2016 (456 sales) as well as individually (533 sales), the design was also issued in copper-nickel, silver proof and gold proof.
