The third in a series of three coins released to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare, by honouring his works: Comedies, Histories and this issue for Tragedies.The coin was released for circulation as well as being available as part of the 2016 Annual Brilliant Uncirculated (22,786 sales) and Proof sets and in 3-coin BU sets (22,060 sales) as well as BU tubes (6,500). The design was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof.
