The commemorative coin is dedicated to the Ukrainian state established on the Western Ukraine lands after disintegration of the Austro-Hungarian Empire comprising a considerable part of the Ukrainian lands – Halychyna (Eastern Galicia), Bukovina and Transcarpathia (Carpathian Ruthenia). On November 9, 1918, its government was formed – the State Secretariat of WUPR. The Law of November 13, 1918, secured the supremacy and sovereignty of the people.Interesting fact
