Dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of one of the most powerful, distinctive figures of Ukrainian art of the late 19th - mid-20th centuries. Vasyl Krychevskyi, who had a universal talent: he worked in architecture and painting, worked on the design of books, theater performances and films, developed the design of the national coat of arms of Ukraine, the state seal, paper money and stamps of the Ukrainian People's Republic of Ukraine, had a thorough knowledge of folk art, and was deeply familiar with world art , knew how to teach and constantly studied himself. Drawing inspiration from the artistic creativity of the Ukrainian people, Vasyl Hryhorovych Krychevskyi left a significant legacy behind him - there is no field of art in which the artist's creative influence and all-round individuality would not be manifested. In many of them, he acts as an innovator and creator of the Ukrainian national style.
