The coin is dedicated to the 170th birth anniversary of Oleksii Alchevskyi (1835 - 1901), a Ukrainian industrialist and a banker, founder of a number of banks and industrial enterprises, in particular, "Kharkiv trade bank", the first in the city of Kharkiv and the second in Russia commercial credit bank, the first in Russia Land bank. He was also one of the founders of Agricultural Association. Two largest metallurgical works (now they are Public Corporation Alchevsk metallurgical complex and PC Mariupil metallurgical complex named after Illich) have been built on his initiative.Interesting fact
