The coin is dedicated to 110th anniversary of Boris Liatoshynsky, a Ukrainian composer and a conductor; who was also a very talented pedagogue and founded his own conductor school. Among his pupils were such composers as L.Hrabovsky, I.Karabyts, V. Silvestrov, Y. Stankovych, I.Shamo and I.Belza, a musicologist. He had composed two operas, five symphonies, chamber music, romances, piano miniatures, etc.Interesting fact
