A very unusual type in that it is historicaly a type of the northern Low Countries (Holland), but in this case is struck in the name of john of Brabant, but bears combined arms of Bavaria (lozenges) and Brabant-Limburg (rampant lions).

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 2 Groats "Thuyne" coin from the Duchy of Brabant is that it features a unique design element - a small shield with the coat of arms of the Duchy on the reverse side, which was not commonly seen on coins of that time.
