Comment

THis type differs from the earlier type (see link) by the mint name in the exergue obverse.  According to de Witte, it was specifed at a slightly lower silver content, 5 deniers and 3 grains (0.409), and struck at Leuven between January 30, 1410 and march 31, 1411.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 2 Groats "Botdrager" coin is that it features an image of Antoine of Burgundy, who was also known as Antoine de Bourgogne, and was a member of the House of Valois-Burgundy. He played an important role in the history of the region, serving as the Duke of Brabant and Limburg from 1406 until his death in 1415.
