Comment
This Mule Coin was issued in 2008 by the Stuttgart Mint. It was supposed to have the "New" Europe Map on the reverse. The Stuttgart Mint (F) accidentally issued 600,000 of them with the "Old" Europe Map on the reverse. They realised their error and issued their remaining allocation, 9,000,000, with the correct reverse. The coin has got a separate KM# (KM# A261) from the correctly issued coin (KM# 261)Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it is a mule coin, meaning it has a mismatched obverse (heads) and reverse (tails) design, which makes it a rare and unique error in the minting process.
