Comment

Andorra has more than 1,100 species of plants, but the most representative flower is the "Grandalla", which is made up of six white petals and a yellow crown in the center. The flower is a national symbol of the country and we can find it throughout the Principality, in fields, forests and other green spaces. The "Grandalla" appears during the spring and is characterized by its pleasant perfume. In ancient times, the flower was highly appreciated in the cultural field, since it was closely linked to the world of poetry and Greek mythology, hence its Latin name: Narcissus poeticus.
