Interesting fact

The 1956-1958 Ahmad 1/40 Riyal coin from North Yemen was the first coin to feature the portrait of Imam Ahmad, the ruler of the Mutawakkilite Kingdom, on its obverse side. This was a departure from the previous coins of the kingdom, which had featured the coat of arms of the kingdom. The coin's design was created by the Italian engraver and designer, Bruno Molea, and it was minted in Rome.
