The coin was issued for the 125th anniversary of the figure of culture and art of Kazakhstan Temirbek Zhurgenov. Temirbek Zhurgenov was the first minister of education of the republic. In his post from 1933 to 1937. Zhurgenov paid great attention to the development of the Kazakh language, literature, art, national opera.
