Date of issue: 01 AUG 2006The training sailing vessel «Myr» was built in 1987. It is assigned as training vessel for students of marine educational institutions. The frigate is holder of many prizes and honourable titles. It also was time and again winner of international regattas.

The Frigate "Myr" coin was designed by prominent Russian artist, Vladimir A. Arsentiev. He is known for his work on various commemorative coins and has won several awards for his designs.
