The 2017 issue of the Gold Britannia introduced a sunburst effect finish to the reverse of the bullion coin. While the standard bullion issue had a textured obverse, the Trident privy mint mark issue was changed to one with a guilloche (listed separately - see below). This guilloche effect on the obverse has since been used since this issue in 2018.Interesting fact
