Warrior (representing Jean l'Aveugle) riding on the right with a helmet studded with a flight, brandishing a sword with his right hand and wearing a shield bearing the coat of arms of Luxembourg. Behind him, a phylactery inscribed with his motto. Surrounding him, the legend in Luxembourgish, the engraver's name in full at 5 o'clock and, at the bottom, the date of death of Jean l'Aveugle and the date of issue of the coin.
