Comment

Issued to commemorate the 70th wedding anniversary of HM The Queen & HRH Prince Philip, there were 11 different issues of varying metals and denominations which all share the Etienne Miller obverse. However, the £25 platinum, £5 platinum piedfort, £10 gold/silver and 1kg gold/silver have an alternate John Bergdahl reverse which depicts the heraldic lineage of the two families.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the coin is that it was minted to commemorate the 70th wedding anniversary of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. The coin's design features a portrait of the couple on their wedding day, surrounded by a wreath of roses, and the inscription "1947-2017 Platinum Wedding". The use of gold and the high level of detail in the design make it a unique and valuable collector's item.
