Banco Nacional de Cuba (BNC - National Bank of Cuba) was on charge of the monetary and financial politics till 1997, when was created the Banco Central de Cuba (BCC - Central Bank of Cuba), and continued as commercial bank.Currently the financial Cuban system is integrated by nine commercial banks (included BNC), and thirteen non-bank institutions, under BCC control.
El Banco Nacional de Cuba estuvo a cargo de las políticas monetarias y financieras hasta 1997, cuand fué creado el Banco Central de Cuba, para tomar esas responsabilidades, y continúa operando hoy como banco comercial.
Actualmente el sistema financiero cubano está integrado por nueve bancos comerciales (incluído el BNC), y otras trece instituciones no bancarias, bajo el control del Banco Central de Cuba.
