Comment

This collection is dedicated to the great artist Joan Miró (1893-1983). This is the fifth issue of the series called "Spanish Painters", with which we want to pay tribute to the most prominent Spanish creators throughout history.

Joan Miró i Ferrà (20 April 1893 – 25 December 1983) was a Catalan Spanish painter, sculptor and ceramist. A museum dedicated to his work, the Fundació Joan Miró, was established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975, and another, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, was established in his adoptive city of Palma in 1981.

Interesting fact

The interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique design by the famous Spanish artist Joan Miró, which includes a woman, bird, and star, symbolizing freedom, hope, and joy.
