Under the name 'Numismatic Jewels', in 2008 a new series of collector coins begins in which unique pieces of Hispanic numismatics will be reproduced, and which will continue over the next few years.
The coins selected for this fourth set are the gold Maravedi of Alphonse VIII of Castile, the Almohad Dinar, and an Alphonse VIII Dinero. The coins, minted in proof quality in gold and silver, have face values of 100, 20 and 10 euro respectively.
