Comment
Zunzún is the smallest hummingbird in the world, also known as "pájaro mosca" (fly bird), only 63 mm (2 1/2"). Name comes from the sound of their wings when flying. There are about 300 species of hummingbirds at Cuba, and in spite Zunzún is not scarce, is hard to see, cause lives on deep forest, and usually avoids contact with humans.
Interesting fact
The 10 Centavos coin from Cuba, issued in 1981, features a unique design element - a stylized image of a sugarcane stalk, which is a nod to Cuba's historical reliance on the sugar industry.
