Interesting fact

The Pattern 1 Yuan / 1 Dollar coin was designed to commemorate the inauguration of Zhang Zuolin, a Chinese warlord who served as the Military Governor of Manchuria and later became the de facto ruler of China. The coin features an image of Zhang Zuolin on one side and the National Emblem of the Republic of China on the other. It was minted in 1927 and was made of silver, which gives it a unique historical and numismatic value.
