Interesting fact
The 1 Speciedaler coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of King Frederik III (1655-1656), was part of a series of coins that were minted to address a shortage of small change in the country. The coin was made of silver (.875) and weighed 28.775 grams, making it a substantial piece of currency for its time. Despite its relatively low value, the coin is now highly sought after by collectors due to its rarity and historical significance.
