Interesting fact
The 1 Speciedaler coin from Denmark, issued during the reign of King Frederik III (1661-1662), was part of a series of coins that were minted with a new standardized design, which featured the king's portrait on one side and the coat of arms of Denmark on the other. This was a departure from the previous design, which had featured the image of the king's father, Christian IV. The new design was intended to emphasize the power and authority of the king and to promote a sense of national unity and identity.
