Interesting fact
The Pattern 1 Real coin from Guatemala was designed by the Guatemalan artist and engraver, José María Pineda. Pineda was known for his work in creating the designs for many of Guatemala's coins during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and his designs often featured images of Guatemalan culture, history, and natural landmarks. The Pattern 1 Real coin is one of his most notable works, and it features an image of the Guatemalan national coat of arms on one side and a portrait of Liberty on the other. The coin was minted in 1900 and was intended to be used as a pattern for future coinage, but it was never widely circulated. Today, it is considered a rare and valuable collector's item.
