The fourth and final Timothy Noad floral emblems, the others being the Oak and Rose for England, Flax and Shamrock for Northern Ireland and the Thistle and Bluebell for Scotland.Released as part of the 2014 annual Brilliant Uncirculated (13,865 sales) and Proof sets as well as individually in a Twin BU Pack with the floral emblem of Northern Ireland (3,832 sales), the design was also struck in silver proof, silver piedfort and gold proof. Proof issue limit: 42,000.
