Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique reverse design, created by sculptor Ian Rank-Broadley, which depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the Imperial State Crown, surrounded by the inscription "ELIZABETH II • DEI • GRA • REGINA • FID • DEF" (Elizabeth II, by the grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith). This design was specifically created for the 2010 circulating commemorative coin series, which celebrated the Queen's 50th anniversary on the throne.
