Interesting fact
The 1994 Cuban Stegosaurus 1 Peso coin is unique in that it features a dinosaur that is not typically associated with Cuba or the Caribbean region. The Stegosaurus was a herbivorous dinosaur that lived during the Jurassic period, and its inclusion on the coin may have been a deliberate choice to showcase the diversity of life on Earth. Additionally, the use of nickel-plated steel for the coin's composition is not common for coins, which makes it stand out even more.
