The Ex Hotel Palace is a sumptuous Art Nouveau building, inspired by the Catalan modernism of the Antonio Gaudí school. It is essentially a three-storey building with a corner tower. The hotel was built between 1908 and 1912. It is located on Malecón Tarapacá, the historic center of Iquitos. It was an important luxury hotel during the Amazon rubber rush.
