Comment
Type 4 of 1 Kuna trial strike is a coin with the smaller portrait of the peasant woman and the year of minting (1941) written behind the peasant woman, in the background.Interesting fact
The Pattern 1 Kuna coin was designed by the Croatian artist, Ivan Meštrović, who was also a sculptor and architect. He was known for his work in the early 20th century and was commissioned to design the coin during the time of the Independent State of Croatia. The coin features the Croatian coat of arms on one side and the value of the coin on the other. Meštrović's design was meant to symbolize the newfound independence of Croatia, and it has become a sought-after collector's item among numismatists.
