There are some reports about 1 Kuna from 1941 minted in both nickel and copper with diameter of 20 millimetres. However, both of these are considered replicas.

Interesting fact

The 1 Kuna 1941 coin from the Independent State of Croatia (Yugoslavia) is interesting because it was minted during World War II, when the country was under fascist rule, and it features an unusual design, with a stylized letter "U" on one side and a Croatian coat of arms on the other.
