Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1 Kasu coin from the Kingdom of Madurai is that it features a unique blend of Hindu and Islamic influences in its design. The coin's obverse side features a depiction of the Hindu goddess Lakshmi, while the reverse side bears a inscription in Tamil language and a stylized representation of a mosque, reflecting the Islamic influence on the kingdom during that period. This blending of religious motifs reflects the cultural diversity and syncretism that characterized the Indian subcontinent during that time.
