Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the 1 Florin - István Bocskai 1605-1607 coin from Principality of Transylvania (Hungarian States) is that it features a unique blend of Christian and Islamic motifs on its design. The coin's obverse side bears an image of Saint István, the first King of Hungary, while the reverse side features a depiction of the Islamic crescent moon and star, which was a common motif in Ottoman coinage during that time period. This blending of religious symbols reflects the complex cultural and political landscape of the Principality of Transylvania during the early 17th century, when it was a vassal state of the Ottoman Empire.
