Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the 1 Florin - István Bocskai 1606 coin from Principality of Transylvania (Hungarian States) is that it features a unique blend of Christian and Islamic motifs on its design. The coin's obverse side bears an image of St. István (Stephen) I, the first king of Hungary, while the reverse side features a crescent moon and a star, which were symbols commonly associated with Islamic art and architecture. This blending of religious symbols reflects the cultural and religious diversity of the Principality of Transylvania during the 17th century.
