Comment

Minmi is a genus of small armoured dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous Period. The first fossils of this animal were discovered in 1964 at Minmi Crossing near Roma, Queensland by a local resident and collected by vertebrate palaeontologist Dr Alan Bartholomai for the Queensland Museum.
Fourth of a five coin set.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a unique pad-printed design of a Minmi dinosaur, which is an extinct armored dinosaur that lived in Australia during the Cretaceous period, approximately 100 million years ago. The Minmi is a fascinating and distinctive addition to the coin's design, making it a standout among other coins in the Elizabeth II series.
