This crown-sized dollar coin commemorates a penguin unique to New Zealand. Also known as the Hoiho, the Yellow-eyed Penguin, is thought to be one of the world's rarest penguin species. The coin was issued in the annual New Zealand Uncirculated Mint Set as well as individually in a square plastic case.
The coin was issued in the usual square plastic Jewel Case. (45,000 Copies)
