Comment

The Provisional Government of Tuscany commissioned the production of copper 1, 2 and 5 centesimi coins from Heaton's Mint in Birmingham. All these coins bear the date 1859, but were struck in 1860.

This coins appears as Tuscany C#81 or Emilia KM#4 on some editions of the World Coin. Both are the same.

Listed as Emilia in Krause, but catalogued as United Provinces of Central Italy which were provisional governments of Tuscany and parts of the Papal States before they joined the Kingdom of Sardinia in 1861 to form the Kingdom of Italy.
